The 23rd Annual Cotton & Rural History Conference will take place at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Blake Perkins who will be speaking about his research, Hillbilly Hellraisers: Federal Power and Populist Defiance in the Ozarks, (Illinois, 2017).
Dr. Perkins is an Associate Professor of History and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academics at Arkansas State University-Beebe
Additionally, two panels of historians will present the fruit of their recent research as well.
